Smash Boyz

Site specific dance and physical theatre project for boys
Category: Music and Dance

Starts: Friday, June 06, 2008
Ends: Sunday, June 08, 2008

Following three successful years of site specific dance, theatre projects the Smash Boyz return with another cutting edge performance. From March through to June the boys take part in a number of workshops which incorporate the use of free running, contemporary dance, physical theatre, production design and media, led by artistic director Sarah Shorten of Stacked Wonky.

This year the Smash Boyz create work in an outdoor natural space, in contrast to last year’s hi-tech industrial performance at The Factory. Set in the Lynton woods the boys create a world of their own, to which you are invited as part of the performance.
