From spinning and weaving to sheep shearing and shepherding this day of demonstrations, food and craft sales on a National Trust estate, shows the range of traditional skills in North Devon. David Kennard’s dogs demonstrate how to herd even the most unruly sheep and the warden team will be barbecuing Arlington’s own delicious lamb burgers.

New for 2008 is our ‘Historical Baking Competition’ - telephone the property for your copy of a chocolate cake recipe from 1876 to enter!
