Hatherleigh Festival, 10th to 13th July
Four days of art exhibitions, workshops, music and mayhem bringing new experiences and an exciting atmosphere to this Historic town. Events will include - an hilarious evening featuring top acts from the comedy circuit, a dance revue with Armenian dancer Talin Buyukkurkciyan and the marvellous Miracle Theatre.
The festival will open with a steel band performing in the square, art exhibition previews, music and dance. The next three days will feature a workshop and performance with the Wren Trust, a concert with acclaimed violinist Sara Struntz, extraordinary street performances, childrens events and many live bands in the marquee. The Festival aims to provide a platform for local talent and to bring to Hatherleigh diverse artists and performers from different cultural backgrounds. Hatherleigh Festival is enormously good fun, come and see for yourself.
