Five men sharing a passion for the Cuban music known as ‘son’ - the precursor to modern salsa. Encompassing styles such as mambo, rumba and cha cha cha, small groups of street musicians would traditionally play in and around the bars where spontaneous dancing contributed to the infectious spirit of the music.
