The Festival is a month-long celebration in June and is an exciting mix of quality arts entertainment, blockbuster events, and community activities inspired by the beautiful and dramatic North Devon landscape.

In 2008 the Festival celebrated its 10th birthday in style and with impact. Over 130,000 people were involved in 180 main events with a further 805 activities at nearly 200 venues. Attendances saw an 18% increase from 2007. Of the 130,000 attendances, 36% were from outside the area.

The wide range of quality events across several stranded themes attracted significant national profile as well as considerable regional and local coverage. The Times newspaper rated our Festival as one of the top five events in the UK for three of the four weeks of the Festival.

Our advertising packages are competitively priced. For the second year running, we will not be increasing our advertising rates. All rates are subject to VAT. We also offer an optional professional design service for just £80 plus VAT per advertisement.
