Frequently Asked Questions

We are no longer accepting band or event submissions for 2008.  The larger Festival events have also closed their selection processes, although some of the smaller Festival events may still be looking for talent - please check their individual entries and websites for selection guidelines.

If you want to be considered for the 2009 North Devon Festival, please keep an eye on the website and sign up for our Festival enews - we will be welcoming submissions in the autumn.

Thanks for your interest.

I am staging an event in 2008 and would like to be part of the North Devon Festival - how do I get involved?

The Festival encompasses the whole of June - events outside of June will not normally be considered. If your event is in June, please send us some information and we will get back to you.

I am a performer - how do I get involved?

Firstly, think about the events that you are interested in - there are over 200 of them! A number of events are programmed directly by the Festival (through North Devon Theatres) but the majority are organised and run by individual event organisers who make their own decisions about the artistic content of their event. Please tell us a bit about yourself here, indicating which events you wish to be considered for.

Please be aware that we can not guarantee a response due to the volume of queries that we receive.

Do you allow traders at the Festival?

This varies from event to event, depending on size, location, permissions etc. The decision lies with each event organiser, but if you give us your information , we can pass it on. Please indicate clearly which events you would like to trade at.
