Tours, events and activities focusing on local architecture and culture. Heritage Open Days celebrates England's architecture allowing visitors free access to interesting properties that are either not usually open, or would normally charge an entrance fee.
Artist, teacher and printmaker Ken Doughty, lived in North Devon for fifty years. He loved the landscape of North Devon especially the coastline, and was passionate about Exmoor. Much of his work displays the inspiration the area gave him.

Mary Chugg has lived in North Devon since early childhood. Working with oils, watercolours and mixed media, the exhibition shows the development of this local artist over half a century of work.

This selection of entries from our popular photographic competition, is a collection from both experienced and budding photographers of all ages. Once again the Museum is delighted to join with the North Devon Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty in celebrating the International Year of Biodiversity.
