Booking Terms

North Devon Theatres welcomes all to experience or participate in a wide range of arts and performance related activities. North Devon Theatres will not exclude anybody from its work, unless they are deliberately interrupting others enjoyment through anti-social and/or intimidating behaviour.

Artists: Please note that all artists and programmes are subject to change without notice.

Admission: Nobody will be admitted to the auditorium without a ticket.

Reservations: Reservations, without payment, will be held for a maximum of 3 working days.

Refunds / Exchanges: Once tickets have been paid for, they cannot be refunded except in the event of the show’s cancellation. However, if a performance is fully booked, we will try to re-sell your tickets. If we do manage to sell them, you will be charged 10 per cent for this service. Refunds will be in the form of a credit voucher, valid for one year.

Consequential Loss: In the event of a cancellation or amendment to our programme, we will make every reasonable endeavour to ensure customers are notified wherever possible. North Devon Theatres cannot be held responsible for any consequential loss incurred resulting from such a change.

Late Arrivals: Every effort will be made to admit latecomers as soon as a suitable break occurs, but admission is not guaranteed.

Babies / Toddlers: North Devon Theatres strongly advises parents not to bring children under two; however infants aged 18 months or under may be held on their parent or guardian’s lap for pantomime and all children’s events. In the interest of all our customers, an infant must remain on the accompanying adult’s lap at all times throughout the performance.

To minimise disruption to other patrons, crying infants must be taken from the auditorium immediately.

Babies/Young Children must be carried in the auditorium as car seats, pushchairs, etc cannot be brought in for safety reasons.

Unaccompanied Children: Unaccompanied children of 12 years and over are welcome at most performances (except those with an age guidance limit indicated).

Parents must ensure that if children are attending without a parent/guardian that they have safe travel to and from the theatre.

Children aged under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.

Changes: This website is correct at the time of publishing; North Devon Theatres reserves the right to make such alterations as may become necessary.

Stand-By Tickets

Don't forget that for most shows stand-by tickets might be available. Tickets for any remaining unsold seats may be purchased for half of a top price ticket after 18:00 on the day of the performance (no further concessions apply). Please Note: For contractual reasons (between the theatre and the artist(s)), stand-by tickets are not always available - check with the Box Office first.
