Art Trek
Category: Painting
I have drawn and painted from an early age, having had little in the way of formal training, apart from learning figure drawing and basic perspective from a good teacher at school and later attending classes at Richmond Adult Education College. These classes were important to me in providing models and also giving me regular opportunities to pursue my painting, free from the pressures of life.
I moved to the West Country from London some time ago, but it is only in the past few years that I have been able to devote more time to my painting. I have been greatly influenced by the Fauves and the German Impressionists, who in their rich colours and general style reveal their passion for Life and Art.
